Happy National Hot Tea Month!
Sunday, January 8th 2012 @ 2:19 PM
January is a month of resolutions, new beginnings and hope. So many are bombarded with the media's perception of being health concious that we buy- in to high cost and impossible strategies.
What it boils down to is swapping out a few high calorie drinks for no calorie drinks, one drink at a time. Tea, whether black, green, white or oolong can help you with this simple goal. Choose a tea that will satisfy your sweet tooth and help you relax.
I know from personal taste testing that I prefer black teas. I may need a black tea with a fruit blend to keep me going in the late afternoon. After dinner I look for a decaf black tea with chocolate or vanilla flavoring! Just the thing to help me cut back on desserts!
Tea isn't just a soothing drink to aid in fighting a cold. In the winter months, when we spend more time indoors, it can be a favored drink to share with friends, make reading time more relaxing or a special spice to change up a recipe!
We hope you'll join us in exporing all that tea has to offer and celebrate National Hot Tea Month!
